Handicap Skeet is a shotgun shooting sport that rewards shooters who shoot the smaller gauges, 20, 28, and .410 (see table below).
Location: Skeet Fields
Date: First (1st) Saturday of each month.
Shooting Time: 9:00 AM, 10:15 AM and 11:30 AM. Sign-up sheets are posted on the Skeet Shack.
Fees: $16 for all shooters: Fees are paid to the Chairperson on the day of the Match. Non-Members must sign waver before shooting.
Course of Fire: Three rounds of skeet, (75 birds) on Odd months. Two rounds of regular skeet and one round of doubles on even months. (Doubles are shot from stations 1 to 7 to 2. The option will be shot as the last high house 2 single).
Shoot-offs: Using doubles at stations 3, 4 and 5 (miss and out) for ties in class. For over all shoot champion handicaps using chips lower class shooters may use for misses in an attempt to equalize shooter's abilities. |
