CONTINENTAL TRAP
Continental Trap is an international style game, with the clay birds thrown from the trap at approx. 105mph. The machine oscillates up and down as well as from side to side for a wide range of target flight from high flyers to ground hugging runners.
The match format is a six shooter squad shot from the 17 yard line with each participant calling for and shooting a target from each of the five stations and then moving to the right in a clockwise rotation until the round of 25 targets is finished. Each shooter has two shots at each target with either counting for a hit target. The game also uses a voice activated pull system so the target pull is instantaneous to the shooter’s call. The match is 50 targets, two rounds of 25 shot back to back with a short break between each round.
Shootoffs are held after the last squad has finished the match, with prize money awarded to the top shooters in two classes and HOA (High overall)
