The Four Cash Prizes are based on a percentage of match money left over from range fees.

200-Yard Buffalo Silhouette Match

Date: Second (2^nd) Sunday Every Month

Location: Rifle Range - Benches #67 through #76

Sign-up: 8:00 AM- Sighting in starts at 9:00 AM. Match begins at 10:00 AM

Match Costs: SGVGC Members $6.00 or 1 ticket plus $1:00. Non-members: $9.00

Guns: Any firearm typical of the Buffalo Hunting Period of the 19^th Century.

Powder: Black Powder or Pyrodex Only.

Ball or Bullet must be 100% Lead.

Action: Black Powder loaded ball or cartridge. Flintlock, caplock or cartridge.

Shooting Position: Choice of Prone, Sitting, Kneeling with shooting sticks or Standing.

No Bench Rest.

Tie-Breaking Shoot-off: Standing Position Only.

Prizes: Five (5) Cash Prizes based on a percentage of match money left over from range fees.

Location: Lower East Range

Sign-up: 8:00 AM- First Match starts 9:00 AM. First Line break at 9:30 AM

Fees: SGVGC Members $6.00 or 1 ticket plus $1:00. Non-members: $8.00

Firearm: Any front loading flint or cap ignition musket or rifle.

Powder: Black or Pyrodex.

Sights: Metallic only.

No Slings

Course of Fire: 5 shots at 50 yards bench, 5 shots at 100 yards bench, 5 shots at 100 yards offhand

Cash Prizes: 1^st and 2^nd. Bench Aggregate. 1^st, 2^nd, 3^rd and 4^th for Total Aggregate. 6 cash prizes based on percentage of match money left over from range fees: 40% for Bench Aggregate and 60% for Match Aggregate.

Annual "Turkey Shoot"

Course of Fire: A multiple series of "Fun Targets"
